Michelle (aka Mitch) is a Brooklyn and Buffalo-based abstract artist exploring the balance between chaos and control, spontaneity and structure.

Inspired by natural forces like fluidity, erosion, and turbulence, she creates a dialogue between organic expression and geometric containment. Her work often echoes the energy of calligraphy, evoking a coded script open to interpretation, or dissolves into atmospheric washes of color, capturing memory, time, and transformation.

A former UX designer, Mitch recently returned to her art practice, and hosting community art parties that connect people with local and emerging artists in fresh, dynamic ways.
